Originally "Just Say Yes" was to be the name of the first album, but the record company changed it to "Fire It Up." After the release of "Ride," Alan K insisted the next album be called "Just Say Yes." Postumously we have honored his request.

The Road Vultures were one of the trashiest & sleaziest rock bands of the early nineties. They were fronted by the K. brothers, Alan (who went on to the other side) & Kevin (who has went on to cult celebrity) & this recording also features Peter Cain on bass. Kevin had yet to move over to guitar & was still playing drums on the two demo sessions that make up "Just Say Yes" (a title that Alan wanted as the first Road Vultures disc, but the label demanded that it be called "Fire It Up"--- one of the many classic songs on that CD that are also featured here). Why "Stranded In L.A." was never released during the band’s lifetime is beyond me. Owners of Vicious Kitten's "Rock & Roll War" comp should already own this song. You also get demo versions of the first album’s "Fire It Up", "Call", “Leslie", "Hassles", "Motorcycle Girl", & "OK Tonight" as well as unheard gems such as "Tracks" (why did this not get released?!), "Kids", "Backwoods Girl", "Land Of Lenny Bruce", & "Beat Of The City" as well as covers of Stiv Bators’ "Not That Way Anymore" & The Damned's "Love Song". This CD is limited to only 200 copies, so act fast. What are you waiting for? Imagine Guns N Roses if they'd grown up in New York, only knew three chords & never met that loser named Asshole Rose! That's why you need this!
